枫下佳缘 / 快乐单身 / 这儿有没有唯恐天下不乱的，或为追求正义或找寻精神寄托的：二月7号是加拿大全国学生游行日，各地的学生们会为了降学费而举行大游行。一月31日在多大主校园，学生们将通宵不睡，点篝火，住帐篷，以冻僵的身体来抗议解冻了的学费。

少给钱是因为政府近视，不懂教育的重要性，就像一个中产阶级家庭，有些人把钱花在买新车上，有些人把钱花在子女教育上。中国人大多数是后一种，所以政府的政策对我们就极其重要了。学费上涨影响最多的就是低中产阶级和有色人种或新移民家庭了。

呵呵，什么东西涨价受影响最大的都是 "低中产阶级和有色人种或新移民家庭。" 问题是成本的确上涨了，价格自然也会上涨。这并不是谁在害谁啊？那请说说学费上涨的部分落到了谁的口袋呢？

加拿大的学费不算贵，学校根本不赚钱。相反必须依靠政府财政大力支持。另外，osap学生贷款7000以上可以减免。应该说政府的教育政策是相当generous. 年轻学子荷尔蒙分泌过多，没处发泄，搞点学运倒满好的。至于他们的主张就不必当真了。

所以说你观念落后嘛。普及高等教育利民更利国。世界上所有真正的强国高等教育都是国家大量贴钱或享有很多税收减免的，有很多以前不强的国家也通过让有能力的人都能享受高等教育而很快跻身强国之列，如爱尔兰日本等。只有一些弱国或短视的政府才想通过教育赚钱呢。

If you are NOT among the 20% Canadian population which is the most wealthy including our prime ministers, big banks' CEOs or.., you got to understand that your taxes have been wasted and collected into those big fellows' pockets,while you or your children have to pay much more than they should for their post-secondary education.
Go library, compare those statistics, and find out what the government had done before 1970s and what it has been doing since 1980s.

我相信学校是支持的, 但怀疑并不是出于什么"正义". 如果学费冻着, 不意味学校会没钱, 因为有政府埋单. 相反, 要是解了冻, 政府会让学校跟学生要钱, 那么所有"运动", "声讨"就冲学校来了. 与其自己被摆上台, 不如摆政府(纳税人)上台:)
