枫下拾英 / 乐韵书香 / [Food for thought] A young Chinese composer just finished his new piece: "People Mountain People Sea". Celloist Wang Jian said the piece is about individuals lost in the crowd, about the lack of individual freedom......When NYTimes reporter asked the composer about Wang's interpretation, the composer said: "That's an interesting interpretation, I never thought of that, I just want to portray the feeling of LOTS of people." Wang was born in the 60s, and the composer was born in the 70s.

"people mountain people sea"这种叫法看来也进入主流英语了? 看样子王健是在over analyzing?
