that's another option then - buy a dual processor computer and if Vista doesn't work well, use XP temporary. I don't know if XP can fully utilize the dual nature of the processor, or the dual functionality is transparent to the OS.

如果现在要买计算机，一定要买core 2 duo processor的，内存最少1G，显示卡256MB的。这样的系统运行Windows XP肯定没问题，至于WindowsXP能不能充分利用你的系统硬件并不重要，同时这样的系统可以保证你很好的运行大型软件。
