Most tax is used in many social programs, like healthcare, CPP, child allowence, etc. More tax is especially good for middle and low income families and individuals. 你的争取有没有效果，就要看你是在那个选区了。GTA大多数是LIB的铁票区，也有几个NDP的票舱。除非你在少数的几个激烈的选战区，否则你的争取没用。当然了，就算你的投票影响不了结果，也是应该去投票的。目前LIB的财政有困难，你的一票可以帮助LIB缓解一点点财政问题。

就阿富汗问题，加拿大别无选择，哪个党最后的政策都是一样的。有些党知道自己是根本无法执政的，所以可以随便说。自由党当然不是差选择，但选一个连话都说不利索又毫无领导能力的人领导加拿大，还不如选个有领导能力的。
