枫下家园 / 生活杂事 / 可恶的Bell Sympatico说话不算数! 推销时Sales说好6个月半价, 结果开户之后收的都是全价!I just called their billing office, and the supervisor refused my complaint insisting that I'm not qualified for the discount.
As I have no time to contact the consumer protection committee, the only thing I can do is to publish my story here and hope everybody be more careful when you're doing business with Bell Sympatico. Good luck my friends!

If yes, you should call bell to get the discount. Otherwise, ...

不如用rogers cable internet ,最高速度比sympatico快三倍,操作又方便,同样有优惠我给坛子上不少朋友装过了。有兴趣找我416-495-8837 tony

用 Bell Sympatico 的注意了,用的时候,特别是安装的时候,不知道从哪里会跑出一个什么WEB ACCESS的东西,大家千万注意不要CLICK 它,它的收费特别贵,而且没有任何提示,我们就是不知不觉的联上了15分钟,收费65块。

yes, this is the way they make money. They charge Bell and Bell charge you. Search the old news in SINA, some Chinese also had these problems, China-Telcom charged them xxK, becasue they used those softwareconnected to porn sites in other countries.... International long distance...

我也是半价收我全价,这里没有信用可言。我去HONDA DEALER 修车也是,谈前一个价,修后多收150块,还态度恶劣。只好大吵一顿,在这里怎么保持风度真难。

Rogers is also doing business in the same way. Last month, I didn't apply VIP cable with my internet service,but they add it in my bill.I have to complain to get the money back. They always make mistakes like this. I don't know it is a mistake or they intend to do that. If they make mistake , Why do they always take money from me ,but never send money to me?

我当初用sympatico也是电话申请,discount拿到了,一切顺利。
倒是最近bell mobility多收我一个月的system access fee,我可是
月底下午才开户的。跟他们讲过就免掉了。现在看这个mail-in
rebate能不能按时到了。

hehe... , I think about this thing and guess a reason in the end.I think it is because they don't want to delete those video channel in the cable. If they do that, they must invest money on the device that can stop the video signal.that is the reason why some guys only applied basic video channels but got vip channels.

传真件是最有效的,把带signature的complain信传真过去。另外可以cancel,不用付penalty的。如果想改rogers cable internet可以找我。电话在下面

bell.sympatico.ca的网站上至今还有关于新用户申请优惠六个月的具体介绍,这个可以作为证据帮助你么?bell的人认为你哪里不符合discount条件呢?会不会象cocotea那样,预收了。

我在网上发了个E-MAIL投诉,不但答应退还20块,还给了我20块的CREDIT作为补偿。没有啊?我第一个月被多收了20块钱MODEM租用费(1个月10块,共两个月),我在网上发了个E-MAIL投诉(在SYMPATICO主页上有,CUSTOMER SELF SERVICE 往下慢慢找)。不但答应退还20块,还给了我20块的CREDIT作为补偿。ROGERS CABLE TV也多收了60块,通过E-MAIL(也在ROGER主页上)也弄回来了,给了我50块CREDIT补偿。是不是OTTAWA这个地方用户太少,态度就好点?

有可能。我有个朋友,说她姐姐家附近只有她一家华人订了rogers的中文台,
rogers就没有收那一档的费,只收了普通的费。

vxFree: u are better than me ! I even had not get any bill from Bell...they just charged $53 from my credit card account without any notification for the first month ! How did u know they have charged you the activation fee ? did u received the paper bill ?
