Hotmail用HTML方式。POP3是一种邮件协议，大意是指客户端每次从邮件服务器上下载邮件、而不在服务器上留存备份。区别与POP3的有IMAP、好象就是留备份的，从世界各地上服务器看到DSAME THING。

you also can keep a copy of your email on POP3 server
eg. outlook express tools/accounts/mail/properties/advanced/delivery/leave a copy of message on server

People seldom do so to leave copies on POP3 server;although you can theoritically. Let me make this clearer, once you download mails to your local clients, most POP3 servers will opt to delete the copies unless you opt not to; in the mean time, IMAP servers gonna reflect changes at both ends, server and client.
