2:一些象金山词霸等应用软件也已找不到exe, 出现快捷方式"xdict.exe"已被更改或移走;
3:打开VC, 找不到所需的DLL文件, DEVSHL.DLL,
why? how can i solve? thank you very much!!!

How did you reinstall 98? Over the top or fresh installation? Suggest you go for a fresh installation and reload all application after that. Backup your files and format the harddrive first.
