I tried to do that when I wanted to buy my digital camera. Howerver, there were 2 problems.1. Most of the Dot Coms, except the big ones like amazon, in US do not accept canadian credit card. ( the price at amazon is not the cheapest)

2. There is a insurance cost, which is quite high, on top of the deliver fee.
