枫下家园 / 减价特讯 / 还是发在这里吧，美国的亲戚买了ipad准备做圣诞礼物寄给我们，要交关税吗？有人说写上礼物不用交税，还有人说怎样都要交，不过UPS的包关费特别贵，canada post 的便宜很多。

ask them to put it as a gift and value lower than$50.00 cad. It should be no duty .

Read the rules. Gift can be taxed if above certain amounts.
