frankly no idea what is the name of the granit. we wand dark heavy color, and this one has red particles matches the cabinet, so be it. :)

that is why plan to put two coat of enhancer and one coat of sealer. need to wait 72 hours for grout to complete dry though.

Not sure what stone really it is. :( but that is the best deal I have ever found. only $3.25 per sq ft. bought it at tile shopps close to dundas/403. only spend $165 for the tile, $10 for grout, $15 glue but $40 for the enhancer/sealer.

Is the enhancer/sealer for blacksplash or for granite countertop? What's the purpose of it? To protect the color/texture or to make it easy to clean?

shaking handsI have the same feeling you have. My kitchen project is on the way,and it is about to finish in a week. One thing i found in your kitchen, isn't your kitchen cabinet make your range hood too close to your cooking top? Anyway you really did a good job, I know it is really hard, I am going to do my backsplash tomorrow with glass tiles,then my work will finish. I will post my pics for sure.ha ha

While, nothing can make everyone happy. For me, LD's approval is the ultimate goal and she is happy with it. BTW, with sealer, it is not that hard to maintain.
