这个跟网络商有关吧? 就像ROGERS如果不开放GATEWAY, 再好的软件也发不到ROGERS的手机上, 对吧? icq支持SMS

通过Gateway的方式是需要双方合同的，现在4个运营商可以互通SMS。但还有种EMAIL方式，软件可以将对方手机号转成EMAIL地址格式，再送到Internet。比直接通过GATEWAY的方式慢，但有可能送到全球的每一个点。

If i send SMS to my Canadian mobile through ICQ, I can send reply message by clicking the soft-button "reply". The replier don't need know which number the message will be sent to. He did the same way, but failed.

I can't send it to 169 mobile phone in China. It says the network is unable to deliver the message.....

You delete so quickly. In my version 2002, It has "Country", "Area code", "number" three fields. It doesn't have "carrier prefix".

It works now...! but I have no way to find out whether the other party can receive it....When I send to Canadian cell, it gave me a notification when the cell holder receives it, but it doesn't give me one when I sendto China....

原因是: 当你送到加拿大手机(比如ROGERS)，手机收到后，会反送一个通知信号给SMS CENTER，ROGERS SMS CENTER与ICQ有直接连接，所以你在ICQ上收到通知。可到中国，是通过另一家海外公司中转的，通知信号可能丢了

You shall choose "Country" as China, "Area code" as "139".

用不着软件！ 笨笨！ 呵呵，如果是Rogers的手机只要去www.rogers.com，找到Wireless，然后是Text message，那个网页就能发短讯
